Safari Toga, Bomber Toga, Astragal, Polartoga, Scientoga, Cousteauga. Message received, this collection is founded upon togas, a covering which became a garment in ancient times. This designer transports us around the world by humorously rewriting the mythology of modern heroes whom she dresses in this iconic garment. Whilst the Argonauts of past knew how to overcome obstacles with their thighs in the wind, today we are confronted with questions that are purely practical. There are no Minotaurs to confront, instead they encounter glaciers, fly over oceans, place a foot onto the moon, or dive in the abyss. Rather than counting upon the gods, they carry a compass and a torch; the designer has thought of everything.
